Recently engaged & preparing for marriage? We use Prepare/ENRICH, an evidence-based premarital and marital assessment. Already married but need a checkup? Our assessment can find areas that are in need of resurrection.
No matter who you love, we are here to support you in your relationship. We welcome any LGBTQ+ couples into our space.
Life gets hard and sometimes marriages do not work out. We can help you "uncouple" in a healthy way. Coparenting after a split? We can help build boundaries and effective communication strategies to make the transition as smooth as possible.
Always arguing? Can't seem to get on the same page? Feel gridlock with issues? We can help you improve your communication skills and conflict resolution, so you can reclaim peace back into your home.
We love working with couples at any stage. It is never too late or too early to start investing into your dating relationship. We use the Gottman Method, EFT (emotionally focused therapy), RLT (relational life therapy), and PACT (a psychobiological approach to couples therapy) to treat our couples.
New baby? Struggling with parenting conflict? Blending families? We can help you find balance again and work through life cycle transitions.
Our therapists have trained under Dr. Stan Tatkin, the founder of PACT (a psychobiological approach to couples therapy), which incorporates attachment theory, developmental neuroscience, and arousal regulation. PACT has a reputation for effectively treating the most challenging couples.
The Gottman Method is an approach to couples therapy that includes a thorough assessment of the couple’s relationship and integrates research-based interventions based on the Sound Relationship House Theory. The goals of Gottman Method Couples Therapy are to disarm conflicting verbal communication; increase intimacy, respect, and affection; remove barriers that create a feeling of stagnancy; and create a heightened sense of empathy and understanding within the context of the relationship.
Our couples' therapists utilize Brene Brown's research in working with our couples.
