Do you accept insurance?

I do not accept insurance, but I’d be happy to provide you with a super bill, which you will then submit to the insurance. Please check with your insurance about your individual needs.

What forms of payment do you accept?

Cash, Checks, and all Major Credit Cards, Flexible Spending and Health Spending Accounts are accepted methods of payment.

Do you have a cancellation policy?

Yes, Cancellations made less than 24 hours in advance, or not showing for a scheduled appointment, will result in a full session charge.

How often or how many sessions do you recommend?

The answer to this question can vary and change, as it depends on the individual or couple needs and goals for therapy. We will collaboratively discuss this at the first session and come up with a plan that is in alignment with your treatment goals.

Is my session confidential?

Yes, everything in session is confidential with a few exceptions. Exceptions include: If I feel you are a danger to yourself or others; in case of medical emergencies; there is reasonable suspicion of child, elder, or dependent adult abuse/neglect; or I am subpoenaed by a judge.

What is Prepare/ENRICH?

Prepare Enrich is a very reputable and widely used premarital assessment that walks you through multiple relational topics to prepare you for marriage or strengthen your already existing marriage. You and your partner will take an online assessment and I will taylor a specific plan for you and your partner based on your own individual results. The sessions will go over certain core subjects such as:

  • Communication
  • Conflict Resolution
  • Relationship Roles & Expectations
  • Lifestyle and Habits
  • Financial Management
  • Sex and Affection
  • Family and Friends
  • Spiritual Beliefs
  • Differences in Partner’s Personalities

What is EMDR?

EMDR stands for Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing. EMDR is a trauma technique that utilizes the natural healing ability of your body.  Eye movements, similar to those during REM sleep, will be recreated with a therapist’s guidance. With repeated sets of eye movements, the memory tends to change in such a way that it loses its painful intensity and simply becomes a neutral memory of an event in the past. EMDR can be used for:
